logoA_600x245_1 Jean-Claude Van Jam was a 48-hour event that brought together game designers, artists, and programmers to create games inspired by Jean-Claude Van Damme’s expansive filmography. I created the game jam in collaboration with Kaho Abe, Ben Johnson, Matt Parker and Ramsey Nasser as a joint project of Babycastles and the Eyebeam Game Research Group.

Teams were assigned a JCVD movie at random to use as inspiration. The 9 teams created everything from custom physical interfaces to a dating simulation. Judges included Keita Takahashi, Greg Trefry, Eric Zimmerman and Kaho Abe. The jam was generously hosted by the Eye Beam Art and Technology Center.
